FAQ

Why shop with TA Sports

Well, it's just me, so you aren't dealing with someone who knocks off at 5pm on the dot, who may not understand or even like the sports. Nothing wrong with that of course, but I have been following North American sports for ages, since Dan Marino was referred to as 'The Kid'. I know, ages ago. I can keep costs down now doing everything myself and deal with the order from beginning to end, right through the process. No, 'I'll put you through to another department' [to slow your inquiry down even further] or 'we can't seem to find that order' or 'please call us back on Monday as we don't work at the weekend', all of which I have experienced recently. So when I say that TA Sports is 'unashamedly old school' - one of the many things I am referring to is that you really do get customer service like you used to 'int good old days'.

How can I contact you?

I usually answer email queries within an hour or 2 and always within 24 hours. Email is better as you have a 'paper trail' with all the info e.g. tracking ref and you don't have to wait in a queue and unfortunately I just don't have the resources to man a phone now.

Is everything licenced?

Yes, everything I sell is bought directly from the suppliers and is officially licenced by the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL or NCAA.

Is UK postage free?

Yes. Everything is sent 1st class by Royal Mail. There is a nominal charge for international orders.

When do you post orders?

Monday-Thursday: if notification of your order is sent to me by Shopify before 1:00 pm, then it will go out that day. If it's after 1:00 pm, then it will go out the next day. Orders received after 1:00 pm on Friday or Saturday or Sunday, will go out on the Monday morning.

Returns

I follow the same principal as other major selling platforms i.e. the buyer pays the return postage and the seller either posts an exchange/another item out or fully refunds. So there are no return label as such. Although I pack everything myself, if I do miss a defect, then of course I'll fully reimburse you, although this is really rare. The same is true with any items lost by Royal Mail, but again, this is a really rare occurrence.
