Founded in 1889, The Burlington Bees were an affiliate of the LA Angels of Anaheim until 2021 and played in the Midwest League from 1962. After an MiLB restructure, they now play on a Collegiate Prospect League. Since 1947 they have played at Community Field in Burlington, Iowa, nicknamed 'The Hive'. Notable alumni include Kenny Rogers, Addison Russell, Eric Hosmer, Larry Walker and Baseball Hall of Fame members Billy Williams and Paul Molitor
