Playing their home games at Raley Field in West Sacramento, the River Cats are now an affiliate of the San Francisco Giants MLB team. The River Cats led minor league baseball attendances during each of its first eight seasons at Raley Field, averaging 10,000 fans per game during the 2007 regular season. In 2012, Forbes listed them as the most valuable team in the Minors. Notable alumni include Carlos González, Nick Swisher, Manny Ramirez, Yoenis Céspedes and Andre Ethier.
